Eng Ladislaus Evarist MATINDI is an aviation professional with over 30 years of experience covering various disciplines of the aviation sector. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL), appointed in 2016. He had previously held various management and functional positions dealing with aviation matters in Tanzania and abroad. He has been regularly involved in aviation programs within and outside the Continent, notably overseeing the preparation and inauguration of CASSOA under the EAC.

He is currently a board member of SITA, a multinational information technology company providing IT and telecommunication services to the air transport industry and also a board member of the Tanzania Government Flight Agency (TGFA). He is a member of the Executive Committee of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA). He holds a master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in international business.
