Mohamed Abdirizak, with over a decade of hands-on experience at the intersection of technology, operations, and policy, Mohamed is recognised as a leading expert in CNS/ATM systems and air navigation service provision across the East African region.

He currently leads the CNS Department, directing multidisciplinary teams of ATSEP/CNS engineers and technicians in the planning, implementation, and management of air traffic management systems, ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-performance air navigation services at the national level.

Mohamed also serves as a State focal point to several ICAO and EAC task forces and sub-committees, where he plays an active role in shaping CNS/ATM policy, advancing interoperability standards, and driving regional aviation initiatives.

His academic qualifications include an MSc in Air Transport Management and an MSc in Communication Engineering, a combination that enables him to bridge technical complexity with strategic programme delivery.
